Town of Windsor Announces Upcoming Holiday Facility Hours

Hours for Town of Windsor facilities are impacted by several upcoming holidays. This includes Town Hall, 301 Walnut St., Public Services, 922 N. 15th St., Police Department, 200 N. 11th St, the Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St., and the Art & Heritage Center, 116 5th St.  

Town Hall, Public Services, the Police Department, and administrative offices at the Community Recreation Center will be closed on the following dates in observance of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s:

  • Thursday, Nov. 24: Closed
  • Friday, Nov. 25: Closed
  • Friday, Dec. 23: Closed at noon
  • Monday, Dec. 26: Closed
  • Friday, Dec. 30: Closed at noon
  • Monday, Jan. 2, 2023: Closed

Windsor Police officers are on duty 24 hours each day, seven days a week. The Police Department can be reached on the non-emergency line at 970-674-6400 and residents should dial 911 for emergencies. 

Community Recreation Center public access hours are different from town administrative holiday hours. Here are the holiday hours that visitors can expect:

  • Thursday, Nov. 24: Closed
  • Friday, Nov. 25: Open
  • Saturday, Dec. 24: Closed 
  • Sunday, Dec. 25: Closed
  • Saturday, Dec. 31: Closed 
  • Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023: Closed

There are only a few weeks remaining to check out the Black and White: A Community Art Exhibition at the Art & Heritage Center. Admission is free. Exhibition hours are:

  • Friday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Nov 27: Closed
  • Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4: Open noon to 4 p.m. 
  • Friday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 11: Open noon to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 16 through Sunday, Dec. 18: Open noon to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 23 through Sunday, Jan. 1: Closed
  • Friday, Jan. 6 through Sunday, Jan. 8: Open noon to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 13 through Sunday, Jan. 15: Open noon to 4 p.m.

The Poudre Express, which serves Greeley, Windsor and Fort Collins, will not run on Thursday, Nov. 24 and will resume its normal operating schedule on Friday, Nov. 25. For more information about rates and the Poudre Express schedule, visit https://greeleyevanstransit.com/routes/poudre-express/.
