Town of Windsor Museums To Open Exquisite Miniatures Exhibition by Wes and Rachelle Siegrist

Exquisite Miniatures

Windsor, CO — The Town of Windsor Museums will feature the art exhibition, Exquisite Miniatures, at the Art & Heritage Center, 116 5th St., from May 15 to August 14.

Artists Wes and Rachelle Siegrist mesmerize viewers with miniature paintings so exquisitely crafted that they are often mistaken for tiny photographs. A hallmark of their work is their ability to convey the feeling of a larger canvass or the essence of the natural world in miniature.

Exquisite miniatures consist of over sixty signature paintings including landscapes, portraits, still lifes, and wildlife.

Katherine Mercier, the Town of Windsor Museums Education Coordinator who has experience educating visitors about miniature art from her time at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures in Kansas City, says, “It is exciting to have miniature art coming to Windsor. Exploring the world through art on a tiny scale is a great way to spend time with your family and friends. Discover an incredible selection of miniscule paintings that could fit in the palm of your hand!”

The exhibition is free and open to the public, Fridays through Sundays, noon to 4 p.m.
