Emergency Preparedness

Public safety is the top priority of Windsor’s Emergency Manager.

Stay Informed

Sign up for emergency notifications. Windsor partners with the Larimer County Emergency Telephone Authority (LETA 911/NoCoAlert.org) for emergency notifications.  You can register for free, even if you live in the Weld County portion of Windsor, to receive email, text or phone call alerts. If you are already registered, check to be sure that you are registered for weather alerts as well.

LETA911/NoCoAlert partners with Deaf Link to provide the Accessible Hazard Alert System (AHAS) which will send accessible alert messages to registered residents who are Deaf, Blind, Hard of Hearing, or Deaf/Blind. AHAS alerts are also Braille reader accessible. Individuals wishing to receive accessible emergency alerts will register on LETA 911/NoCoAlert.org by selecting the option Deaf Link Registration. Once the individual completes the accessible registration, they will be notified by the NoCoAlert System with an accessible alert for all imminent threat to life alerts that impact communities served by LETA911.
