Windsor’s Economic Development aspires to see community businesses grow and workforce education and training opportunities abound in the Windsor area. There are a variety of nearby resources to help businesses of all sizes support their professional goals.
Larimer County Workforce Center
The Larimer County Workforce Center provides easy access to a wide array of employment and training services. Following the trend initiated by the U.S. Department of Labor, Colorado has consolidated the many components of job service, employment and training services to maximize its ability to serve job seekers, as well as area employers.
Weld County Employment Services
Weld County Employment Services is a comprehensive workforce center that offers resources for employment, education and training. They also strive to assist local and regional employers with applicant referrals and other employer-specific services.
Aims Community College
Aims Community College offers non-credit business and personal development classes, associate degrees in business, business certificates and online business classes. The main campus is located in Greeley with additional locations in Windsor, Loveland and Fort Lupton.
Front Range Community College
Front Range Community College is the largest community college in Colorado with campuses in Fort Collins, Longmont, Westminster and Brighton. Students can take classes in person and online to work towards an associate’s degree, business certificate or transfer to a four-year university. Front Range offers a small business ownership certificate offered at all campuses and online.
Colorado State University
Colorado State University’s Online MBA program was ranked best in the state in 2019. CSU’s main campus is located in the heart of Fort Collins. Students working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration can choose from 10 different concentrations. Working professionals looking to earn their Master of Business Administration, also known as an MBA, on campus can take twice-weekly evening classes with self-paced online electives through the Evening MBA program.
University of Northern Colorado
The University of Northern Colorado in Greeley offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in business through the Monfort College of Business. UNC’s MBA program is 36 credit hours and offered completely online. Students can complete the 36 credit-hour program in as little as 12 months and have the option to choose a degree emphasis in human resource management or healthcare administration.
